10 products to buy at Sephora in New York

As much as I think that a beauty shopping in New York should not be restricted to Sephora, there’s no way to resist! Yes you should visit one of the stores throughout the city. The brand mix, a free environment, where you can try everything, products display: you can’t deny that shopping experience at Sephora is well worthwhile. But it is easy to get lost with so many options. As I made similar posts with suggestions for products to be bought in pharmacies here, I decided to make a list of Sephora products that I think that are interesting and that you should keep an eye.

Secret Camouflage, Laura Mercier – a beauty editor and makeup artist favorite, this customizable concealer naturally and completely covers dark circles, blemishes, scars, minor imperfections, and discolorations with a unique two-shade system. This dual-shade camouflage makes it possible for everyone to custom-blend her own perfect shade. The high-level of pigment requires very little product to achieve perfect coverage that lasts for up to eight hours. There are 8 options of colors, from light to dark. $34

Tattoo Liner, Kat Von D – a black liquid eyeliner, pen format, classic! But unlike many others eyeliners that usually fails, this one has high pigmentation, is waterproof and provides an accurate trace. Two friends of mine have tested the loved it! $19

Brow Wiz, Anastasia Beverly Hills – best brow eyeliner that I have used!  Plus, it is Anastasia Beverly Hills best-seller and also Anastasia Soare (brand creator) favorite. I tried this one in a Sephora event and I never stopped to use it. There is a lot of colors, a perfect pigmentation and a thick trait that prevents grotesque mistakes when you are filling your eyebrows. $21.

24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil, Urban Decay, Zero – are you a black eye lover? So, you probably will like this Urban Decay pencil, one of the most black pencils that I ever seen. It has a creamy finish, long lasting. $20

Concealer, NARS – I tried this NARS concealer in a Sephora makeup class and I loved it. It is liquid, easy to apply and covers dark spots. Plus, its formula has vitamin. $25

Clarisonic –  It was certainly one of the best beauty investments I ever made in my not so brief life. Clarisonic cleanses skin in a deep and fast way. It is easily incorporated into your routine and once you start to use it, you will see how it makes a difference in texture and appearance of the skin in just a few weeks. There are some variations – which differ due to the available speeds. I would say that you do not need more than one speed and can use it once a day. $99

Masks, Peter Thomas Roth some brands ate unnoticed by many people on the shelves of Sephora … this one, which is on the skincare section, deserves your attention – mainly because of the masks, which will increase your routine skin care. My favorites are Cucumber Gel Mask and Blue Intense Hydrating Marine Algae Mask. $52

Luster Matte Long-Wear Lip Color, Sephora – you can’t visit a Sephora without spending sometime exploring Sephora Collection products. One of my favorites is matte liquid lipstick, with amazing colors and coverage. U$16

Primer, Make Up For Ever when it comes to primer, Make Up For Ever has not just one, but 10 types of primers. There are 5 to correct skin tones and 5 for textures.  That one with a moisturizer formula is really good: it is impossible not to see the difference on the skin: less visible pores and a good texture.$36

Dry Shampoo, Living Proof – I was in love with this from Living Proof after my friend Carol spent a weekend here using it as a finishing waves, to add volume and texture to the hair and, of course, prevent oily. Furthermore, the fragrance is delicious!  $22
