& pizza: fast, delicious, cheap pizza in New York City

New York City has so many choices of places to eat without spending too much – and we’re not talking about Mc Donald’s or a dollar pizza. We have a lot of specialized fast-casual chains – salads, Indian, Mexican – with affordable dishes. These options are great for that quick snack or lunch. Another day, I visited a super cool place with my friend Fê Neute: & pizza. I loved everything: the concept, the food, the price – and I had to share the tip here on the blog with you. Best of all is that & pizza is also a good place for anyone who is vegan, vegetarian, or even for anyone who is gluten intolerant.

The pizza follows the concept of many restaurants that have this same fast-casual style. Just as you choose the ingredients of your dish at Chipotle or your salad at Sweet Green, that’s how it works on & pizza. You choose the dough – traditional, grain, or gluten-free – and then choose a sauce – tomato, spicy tomato, garlic with ricotta, truffled mushroom, pesto, and French onion. Then you choose the cheese: mozzarella or vegan mozzarella. Next, you choose 4 toppings – and there you have it all: vegetables, fruits, and meats. Lastly, we have to choose some final special toppings  like olives, olive oil, and more. And the most incredible of all is that this process happens in seconds and the pizza bakes in TWO MINUTES. Yes, that’s right, two minutes.

If you can’t decide, no problem: & pizza also has 9 options of pizzas with already selected ingredients. I chose the MoonStruck, with truffled mushroom, garlic ricotta sauce, and fig balsamic at the end which gave it all the special flavor. But there are other options – if you want to check, just click here and choose The Hits to see the menu.

The best of all? The pizza – which is like a flatbread – is huge and is simply delicious! And it costs only $10. You can order to go or eat there I loved & pizza and it’s certainly a place I will go back to and that I will also refer to my friends!

Two locations in the city: 740 Broadway /15 W 28th St.
