5 delights to try in New York City

From time to time,  I like to write a post to update you on new delights to try New York. After all, if you are a good eater – like me – a good part of your trip will be dedicated to eat new food here. Not worth counting calories: you’re on vacation and walking as hell to explore this city, then, then, you have the right to explore some city goodies? These are the latest inventions and releases from the moment, which are already popping up on Instagram timeline…

Bingbox Snow Cream – Korean invention, this ice cream is served shaved in flavors like matcha, sesame, chocolate, mango and strawberry. You can add some special toppings like caramel popcorn, Oreo cookies, gelatin, fruit and other options. You still can finish with Nutella, condensed milk, honey, chocolate or green tea (?). $7

Fish-shaped waffle cone, Taiyaki –   Taiyaki serves ice cream that comes in a waffle cone in the shape of a fish. You can pick one of the shop’s creations or make your own taiyaki. Choose an ice cream (including vanilla, chocolate, black sesame and the on-trend matcha), filling (custard or red bean), drizzle (chocolate, caramel, condensed milk or strawberry) and add two toppings, such as mini M&Ms, mocha or a wafer. $7.

Cotton Candy Bubble Tea Float, Vivi – bubble tea is a tea base drink, created in Taiwan during the 1980s The recipe calls for a tea base mixed with fruit or milk. And they come with tapioca balls, like a sago. This one from Vivi has a special addition: cotton candy.

Address: there are a lot of locations, but the only that serves this drink is located at 205 Allen St.

Cotton Candy ice cream, Ruimilk – and it looks like cotton candy is kind of trending in the world of desserts, right? Ruimilk serves frozen yogurt and ice cream covered with cotton candy – but the coolest are the curte formats!

Churros, Sweet Churros – is there something more nostalgic than a churros? I Love it! I remember much of my childhood and the food carts that use to sell churros on the streets. Sweet Churros specializes in this sweet and sells several variations – the one with ice cream looks pretty interesting. From $3
