3 nice bars in New York City

The person who writes here is not a person that knows a lot about the nights in New York. Then, I get no suggestions and evening programs advice when people ask me. Sorry, folks … Let’s see if this year I try to learn more to be able to give you more suggestions, ok? But, I know some places. When we go out with some friends, we end up going some cool places and today I list three I enjoyed!

Houston Hall structure resembles a large shed – and when I say big, it’s really big. For city standards, the location has a great privileged space. Not to mention that is a super nice area of New York, West Village. It’s a great bar for happy hour, no dress code. People meet there to watch sports, you know? The emphasis here is on beers selection – it’s neat and those who enjoy different beers will like. There is a space for private parties up to 25 people. Houston Hall takes reservations and this month, for example, there are DJ every Saturday. During the week, there are special prices from 5pm to 7pm.  For more information, reservations and events, click here.

Address: 222 West Houston St.

The Delancey would be the most versatile place of today’s list. The three level club is home to a downstairs music venue, main level bar, and the only all weather rooftop garden of its kind peering out onto the Manhattan side of the Williamsburg Bridge. That is, it has something for everyone, both for those who enjoy more music and for those who want to drink and chat (or flirt). Remember that the place requires a dress code. There are also special discounts on drinks in happy hour (Sunday to Wednesday from 5 pmto 8 pm and Thursday from 5 pm to 7 pm). It is good to check the schedule, which is very intense – and check the value of the ticket. There are several events with free admission.  For more information, reservations and events, click here.

Address: 168 Delancey St.

Finally, Experimental Cocktail Club, a different place. The room is large and also the highlight here, as the name suggests, are the cocktails – different and delicious. The selection is wide, with about 14 options, which mix ingredients unusual. Choose yours and enjoy the evening with the music of the place. The founders of the Experimental Cocktail Club began in Paris and also have a location in London.

Address: 191 Chrystie St
