Instagram’s most photographed New York restaurants in 2015

Some weeks ago, I saw a Instagram list on AM New York: the most photographed restaurants in the social network in 2015 in the United States. And – not surprisingly – 5 of them are in New York. As social networks are slinger trends, it worths to take a look in the list, right?

Ladurée – famous for the macarons, this parisian bakery is present in New York with two super charming locations, that are an irresistible invitation to a photo. The most photographed address is located in SoHo and beyond the unmistakable French sweets and super cute decor, the place has a restaurant. Highlights also include other sweet treats like the Tatin Tart, Chocolate Orange Cake and Praline millefeuille.

Address: 398 W. Broadway.

The Frying Pan – The Frying Pan is a bar that only opens in the spring / summer season. One of the coolest things about the place is its location: it sits in a boat anchored on a pier in the city. There are tables scattered on site, great for enjoying the view of the Hudson River and a drink with a snack. Bonus, there is always music. Great choice for happy hour.

Address: Pier 66 at W. 26th St.

Dominique Ansel Bakery – renowned chef Dominique Ansel is famous in the city for creating sweets that cause buzz. One is cronut – junction of donut + croissant, which attracts queues on site at 6 am. The bakery delights also includes cookies, handmade ice creams, soups and sandwiches. And the menu never falls into the sameness because changes every 6 – 8 weeks.

Address: 189 Spring St.

Katz’s Delicatessen – super old and traditional place – since 1888! – Katz Delicatessen is home to the most famous pastrami sandwich in New York. In addition to the traditional dish, you should try the matzoh ball soup, knishes and Phily Cheese.

Address: 205 E. Houston St.

Tao – super famous oriental restaurant, has been featured on Sex and the City and is always crowded! The environment is cool, the decor is a sideshow, is always full of young people and the food is delicious. Not a properly cheap place, but I think it worths the experience. It’s better to make a reservation. Tao is in Uptown and Downtown.

Address: 42 E. 58th St. / Maritime Hotel, 92 9th Ave.
